Copyright safeguards original works and provides creators with exclusive rights over their intellectual property. It's crucial, especially when trademark registration is denied, as it protects various creative expressions like art, literature, and music, ensuring the security of intellectual property in a dynamic landscape.

Why is it important to register copyright protection?
Copyright refers to the intellectual creative achievements of individuals. Once a work is completed, the relevant rights holder automatically possesses the copyright to that work. Because of the "automatic acquisition" nature of copyright, in cases of copyright infringement and ownership disputes, whether the rights holder has copyright becomes the primary issue. Copyright registration can serve as administrative confirmation of ownership, facilitating subsequent enforcement and anti-piracy efforts.
Once the ownership of a work's copyright is established, the copyright holder can prohibit others from using the work, including actions such as registering it as a trademark, using it on products, or in commercial advertising and promotion.
Copyright protection duration varies for natural persons and legal entities or non-legal entities. The protection period for natural persons is the lifetime of the author plus fifty years after their death, while legal entities or non-legal entities enjoy a protection period of fifty years after the completion of the work.
